Mark Richard Myers is a self taught artist originally from California who now resides and paints in England. His lifelong interests in sailing and history have combined to make for some of the most accurately researched and articulate paintings of historical maritime subjects. Primarily known as a watercolorist, Myers works in a variety of media, including oils, acrylics and pastels. He is also accomplished at lithography, etching and book illustration. He is a past President of Englandís Royal Society of Marine Artists and a founding member and Fellow of the American Society of Marine Artists.
