Richard Wright (attributed) (1741-1773)

Richard Wright was a Liverpool artist who was largely self taught. He seved aboard teh royal yacht FUBBS on a voyage to Kiel in 1761, in which the vessel encountered three severe storms. Wright produced several paintings of the ordea, one of which was his first of many to be exhibited at the Society of Arts, helping to establish his career.
